Ford. Quality is Job One. Built Ford Tough. We're Not American, We're Mexican. Throughout the years Ford has gone through a number of slogan changes; Henry Ford, building his Model-Ts and sending cash and support to Nazi Germany, would hardly believe that his company produced the classic Mustangs in the 1960s and then squandered their near-monopoly on Cool to become the pariah of the automobile world. Ford was largely responsible for the rise in SUV sales after the Northridge earthquake in California in the early 90s; they sold the hulking monstrosities to scared-to-death soccer moms and teeny boppers who then put faulty tires on them, which blew up and caused the top-heavy gas-guzzling death traps to roll over. But hey, they're trying to make a comeback after years of losing market share to the Japanese and - get this - GM; let's give them the benefit of the doubt.
