Company Analysis
I guaran-f-ing-tee that you know this company. Every time you go into a supermarket...well, ok, not every time, but sometimes, you go into a supermarket or a market or a drug store and you pass this machine and see that it counts all your coins up and gives you the money in bills so you aren't carrying around 5 pounds of pennies you've saved since last millenium in order to buy a six-pack. You pass it and think, "Hey, I should bring all that spare change down here and cash it out, just so it's not sitting in that water bottle." Coinstar runs those machines, and people literally just give this corporation money. You dump your coins, it counts them and gives you a receipt, which you bring to the counter of the store and get bills back. For this convenience, you pay a fee - traditionally 15% or so. So, if people cash in $1,000 in a day, the company makes $150 (minus space rental to the store). Don't you wish you'd thought of it first?
